One of our projects in the UK is a printer cartridge recycling scheme which also includes toners and mobile phones. Recycling is not only good for the environment but can also raise funds for charitable projects overseas that help the world’s poor. The way the scheme works is that you will have a collection box in your office with a list of acceptable cartridges, toners and phones. When it is full a Kind Office representative will empty the box and you can start collecting all over again. When Kind Office has enough cartridges they will send them off for recycling and Robin Hood Ministries will receive a cheque for their projects. FRANK Water Projects installs world wide clean water projects with funds from the pioneering social enterprise Frank Water Ltd. This ethical botted water company donates 100% of its proftis to the charity. FRANK has so far funded the installation of 4 projects in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Children's Scrapstore is a Bristol charity that collects safe, clean business waste materials to be reused as art, craft, play and educational materials by hundreds of groups working with children and young people. We are constantly on the lookout for large and small quantities of waste materials that are colourful, clean, safe, versatile unusual. Materials such as: card, paper, fabric, netting, containers with lids, sticky back plastic, plastic shapes, rolls of fabric, CDs, tubing, rope, string, wood, corks, foil - the list is as long as a child's imagination. These could be production offcuts and by-products, bankrupt or redundant retail stock, or unused materials. We can collect any amount for free, and are particulalrly interested in bulk quantities.
